On one end of the spectrum, life may seem so full of hope ...
... while on the opposite end of the spectrum, so far apart
... life may seem empty and hopeless.

And since the written history of man ...
... the two ends of the spectrum continue to remain very far apart.

Now the real question I ponder is ... "Will it ever change?"
