Moments of Awareness (MoA) Collection

Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow.
It will come. It always does.
But will it come for me.
And do I want it to come for me?
I am unsure as it's hard enough living today in the moment.

So much to do to get my writings together ...
... and so many writings to gather.
Where do I start? And start I must.
So maybe I'll take a few more tomorrows after all.

Even when everything seems lost ...

... the future still remains.

It may sound silly but this is how I feel.
"My life feels complete even in all its incompleteness.
But can I possibly feel even more complete?"

The answer came quickly,
"Of course you can. To love more and to let others love you more ...
... and to do this with loving-kindness and compassion."

P.S. And perhaps complete some to those desires that are still incomplete.

Sometimes that's all thats needed ...
... just to know that you are that you are
... but I'd still like to know more.

There are no words that can truly express this experience ...
... of the rich appreciation felt deep within my heart
... as it radiates out the feelings of loving-kindness and compassion
... and it feels good.

It is so much more than "Thank you" ...
... yet sometimes that's all that's needed.

So I say to you in this very moment of time ...
"Thank you for being you."

Who am I to judge ... and why would I need to judge any way?

Perhaps what I desire is to understand and accept ...
... once a very hard thing to do.

And now this desire has transformed into a dear practice ...
... a practice of no judgement
... and instead a practice of sharing compassion
... and loving-kindness with all.

Today will be a day of stillness ...
... just being in a quiet state of awareness
... of what is ... is.

As I sit on this park bench along the trail ...
... it's a peaceful day of acceptance and gratitude
... and listening to the birds singing their sweet songs of life
... and feel the warmth of the sun nourishing the who I have become.

Just as the butterfly transforms from a caterpillar ...
... going inward 1st into a cocoon
... then breaking out to emerge into the magnificence of freedom
... it had never known before.
We too have the same opportunity.

Our transformation is from being a body with a soul ...
... and becoming as a Soul with a body
... and emerging into the magnificence of freedom
... a new freedom we had never known before.

As we now understand the world around us with new eyes
... that reveal what has been concealed from us until today.

5 years ago and 10 years ago and 20 ... and even 50 years ago ...
... full of many life adventures .... and places .... and people.
I smile looking back at it all and am grateful.

Sometimes they all seem like it was just yesterday I was there ...
... yet it also seems like an eternity ago
... and I wonder ... was it really real or was it all but a dream.

And I certainly remember those special moments of each ...
... and those challenging and difficult lessons learned
... so many lessons about what love and life were all about
... and of my amazing achievements that often surprised me.

And here I am today knowing well I am in my final go-around ...
... with not much left to learn at this stage in my life
... only to take what I've learned and continue to practice them
... and share these lessons with those who are interested
... to perhaps hear about my unique (and not unique) lessons
... my personalized set of Life's Silent-Knowings.

One powerful way to begin connecting with others ...
... heart to heart
... and sometimes soul to soul
... is look in their eyes
... when you talk with them
... and when you listen to them
... and see and feel their "light"
... and let them see and feel yours.

It can be a most rewarding practice.

So where do "we" go from here?
And just who are the "we" I'm speaking of?

Do you belong to the "we" I'm referring to ...
... or do you belong to the "un-we"?
And does it really matter?

Here "we" all are existing with our dear Mother Earth ...
... and each of us believing in our own versions
... of good and evil and right and wrong.

My hope is these many versions in time ...
... come closer and closer together
... and the "we" can begin to live as One
... and treat each other with respect and understanding
... always in Peace and always with Love.

As you sit on park bench facing the morning sun ...
... and feel the warmth of the sun on your face
... nourishing your belief in YourGod
... and that the beauty of the world abounds all around you.

As you breathe in this beauty, it begins to feed your heart ...
... with the soothing energy of loving-kindness and compassion.
