While sitting in my yard, I watched a deer across the street in my neighbors yard munching away on the vegitation while people and cars passed it by only a few feet away ...

... and the deer did not flintch. I realized how well the deer adapted to the safe-space of Ashland.

But must ask ... "Realistically, does the deer have a false sense of safety ... or does it even matter?"
